It seems we have an "Antler Junkie" on our hands here with Ray! Third time is a charm for Ray Mohr from Edmonton as he hunted and harvested a total beast of a Roosevelt Elk. This monster scored 540". Good Job Ray and see you in October for your Woods Bison and Markhor Hunt.
After a rough first day where Olivia got run over buy a Yak Bull, their luck turned around big time. Olivia 14, shot her first ever Elk Bull with her crossbow late on the third evening, a nice 350 class. Great job girlm I am very proud of you! Her Father Dino got his moment the next morning on a nice 378" - 7 point bull. I know you are talking about it, but I hope it pans out for you to return again in the coming years to break that 400" mark Dino.
Dawn and Kevin were Silvertine's first guests on the NEW expansive 800 acre property, and they had a hell of a hunt. the weather was HOT, not warm, but HOT, and they trudged around behind me like champs. I am sure they were starting to scratch their heads wondering if they were going to connect and kill Elk. Sighting after sighting, stalk after stalk for two days resulted in failure. Score was Elk 10 - Hunters 0. Then on the third day we got our chance and go into a nice group of summer bachelor bulls, and we got a double header. Dawn 420" and Kevin a 370" bulls, great job you two! Looking forward to hunting with you next year again.
