Silvertine's Whitetail Hunting Paradise! Lockhorn Preserve
Often when you hunt this slice of challenging wilderness environment, you can expect to regularly see the whitetail buck waving his white tail at you, humbly reminding us of his finely tuned survival skills. This preserve is one hundred of acres (100) of towering, heavy old-growth Poplar, Spruce, Birch, and some Pine, loaded with many small rolling hills where the game can hide, it is 100% forested, and located next to the Silvertine Preserve. Several feeders are where the game feed early and late in the day. Imagine your self waiting in a blind, or still hunting on foot, and being confronted at extremely close range by that trophy of a lifetime. Average shots on foot are 20-40 yards, and from our large heated blind shots are around 80 yards.
On this preserve there is LOTS of BIG BUCKS, as we keep the stocking density high, so guests hunting here will see LOTS of quality bucks...and I do mean LOTS! This will keep it exciting and enjoyable, you will feel you have died and gone to whitetail hunting heaven, or whitetail hunting Disneyland as one of my regular guests calls it. Hunters have a choice each day on how they would like to hunt. We hunt our deer the exact same way majority of deer hunts do, utilizing blinds and feed as bait, let them come to us, and wait patiently for the right one. Hunts are conducted based on the hunters physical limitations if they have any, and a typical day starts with you and your guide going out to our enclosed blind. The middle of the day is spent still hunting the heavy timber, having lunch in the lodge, still hunting the afternoon, and returning to a different stand in the evening.
You will have trouble falling asleep, as you will have visions of GIANT bucks engrained into your memories from the days hunt, but the nice thing is you will awake to it each morning for a new adventure in this trophy whitetail deer hunters paradise.
