Cow Bison Meat Harvests

As with any sound Wildlife Management program, in order to manage my herd health and Wild Game numbers, I need to harvest some female animals in my herd. I am offering these animals at the exact same cost as I would get if I was to sell them to the Feed Lot Meat Buyers.

HOW THE PRICING WORKS: The average mature dry cow Bison will have a carcass weight of 475-575lbs on the rail, this is the HCW (Hanging Carcass Weight) with the head, hide and innards removed. You will be charged only for the meat based on "market value" price per pound, for more details or questions just reach out to me.  We have a MINIMUM 400lb Harvest required, so sorry we do not offer smaller packages. This Minimum can be shared between two hunters harvests tho.

This is a 2 day, controlled MEAT harvest, and it's for RIFLE HUNTERS ONLY. I am offering harvests for PRIME  meat Bison. Your animal(s) will be harvested out on the massive Silvertine Preserve buy utilizing comfortable large heated Blinds over bait, so we can ensure proper animal selection. Bait is placed between 100 and 200 yards and you will be shooting off of sand bags in the blind, this is how far you will be asked to shoot. The harvested animal brought back to camp with the Side-by-side or Skid-steer, skinned, gutted, and cleaned.

All meat harvests are limited to the dates between October 15th to end of November for reasons of temperatures, weaning age of any calves, and adequate age and body size of our Bison.
