Cow Elk Hunts

 The smartest animal in these hills is the old lead cow, she will challenge our skills as hunters, and when we harvest one of these prime animals, you will be treated to some phenomenal healthy tasting meat, and there's a lot of it.  

These hunts are limited and sold on a first come first serve basis after October 26 to November  30th.  Average mature cow elk will yield 230lb-270lb carcass. This is a 2 day, controlled MEAT harvest, and it's for RIFLE HUNTERS ONLY.  We have a MINNIMUM 400lb meat harvest requirement (two cows), and this minimum can be shared between two hunters. I am offering harvests for PRIME  meat Cows. Your animal(s) will be harvested out on the massive Silvertine Preserve buy utilizing comfortable large heated Blinds over bait, so we can ensure proper animal selection. Bait is placed between 100 and 200 yards and you will be shooting off of sand bags in the blind, this is how far you will be asked to shoot. The harvested animal brought back to camp with the Side-by-side or Skid-steer, skinned, gutted, and cleaned.

This hunt is an excellent choice for the meat hunter. As any experienced elk hunter knows, an antler-less elk is by far the best table fare. These hunts have been 100% success. 

These two day hunts are “Fully Outfitted”. You will be staying at our Silvertine Lodge with all modern conveniences and you will have your own private log cabin. You will be provided with excellent home cooked meals and a warm comfortable bed. We provide guides, all transportation during hunt, meals & lodging, care of killed game (field dressing, quartering, skinning, and hanging in our cooler. Not included in the hunt package is the processing of your meat, but we can assist in boning meat out for transport if needed.
