Silvertine is one of the few hunt ranches in Canada with exceptional quality Fallow Deer Hunting, as we have one of the largest herds in the country. There is four primary coat color patterns: White, Menil (a light brown coat with bright white spots), common Ginger (rich brown with white speckles spots and a black dorsal stripe), and black.  Besides the primary four there is also roughly 10 secondary different color variations of fallow deer, and we have them ALL, so we can make any fallow deer hunting dream come true!

Our hunters are not only treated to an exceptional hunting environment, but also witness first hand some of the best, high-quality, trophy Fallow deer hunting available to the sportsman. This combination creates the ultimate hunt for trophy bucks. With a resident breeding program on the ranch and continuously adding new genetics to the herd, it creates the best of the best on our heavily timbered preserve. Our Fallow deer hunts are offered as early as August 1st when they are in velvet, and as late as December 18th. The rut starts in early November and runs to the end of the month. 

At Silvertine we hunt in elevated box blinds over bait plots, so we do not disturb the deer during their feeding times, and they come right in. Our blinds are comfortable, roomy, soundproof, heated, and allow the hunter to take their time and make a good shot. 

This a REAL HUNT, and VERY Fair Chase! These deer live and die on this ranch, and are SUPER SPOOKY! Even though these deer are "Fenced In", all of our hunters say these deer are wild suckers and exactly like hunting any other whitetail deer anywhere else, just that we can control the hunting pressure and harvest to allow the deer to grow to maturity, supplement them with feed and manage the genetic base for trophy quality. 

Now there is a few things you need to know about this package hunt

1) Our Deer Preserve is  100% forested and 100% Fair Chase hunting, not free range, but fair chase, the deer will have the advantage. We conduct our deer hunts to put you in the optimum spot to fulfill your dream hunt!

2) My deer are born, raised, live, breed, and die on the preserve, so my deer hunts are limited to Fallow Bucks on the hunt property, and what Mother nature controls and grows. The photos on the sides of this page and below are some of the "Ranch" harvested bucks from the 2013 to 2023 season, so you can see what to expect as far as quality, color, and antler shapes, it truly varies. BOTH MATURE AND TROPHY BUCK CLASSES ARE SHOWN HERE.
