​Most hunters dream of that day when they will harvest that huge "trophy" class Bull Elk. At Silvertine we can make that dream come true! The Silvertine preserve was born from a special passion for Trophy Elk hunting. Our hunters are not only treated to an exceptional Fair Chase hunting environment, but also witness first hand some of the best, high-quality, trophy Elk hunting available to the sportsman. With a resident breeding program on the ranch and continually adding new genetics to the herd, it creates the best of the best on our heavily timbered, 100% forested, 800 acre Silvertine Preserve, which creates a hunt equally as challenging as anything you will find in the wild. Our Elk hunts are offered August to December, and rut hunting n September can add excitement to any hunt. The only difference between our hunts and a Free Range hunt is my bulls have truly incredible genetics, producing only exceptional trophy class 6x6 bulls with massive long beams and heavy tines.

To harvest a 400" bull in the wild is 1:5000, so with these odds in your corner is no wonder hunters look towards a quality hunt preserve like Silvertine for that once in a lifetime bull Elk. At Silvertine we conduct our hunts on foot, spot and stalk and still hunting the dense forest environment of Silvertine. We also offer hunts in elevated box blinds over bait plots if customers wish to. Our blinds are comfortable, roomy, soundproof, heated, and allow the hunter to take their time and make a good shot. When you hunt with us you will experience the real deal. Bulls with harems of cows, satellite bulls jockeying for position during the breeding season, bulls of all ages. All our elk are born and raised on the Silvertine preserve and live and die here, offering the hunter a great hunting experience. This a REAL HUNT, and VERY Fair Chase! Even though these elk are "Fenced In", all of our hunters agree these elk are wild as any elk anywhere else, just that we can control the hunting pressure and harvest to allow the elk to grow to maturity, supplement them with feed and manage the genetic base for trophy quality.

Now there is a few things you need to know about this package hunt

1) The Silvertine Preserve is 100% forested and 100% Fair Chase hunting, not free range, but fair chase, the elk will have the advantage.  The large Silvertine Preserve is ideal for rifle hunting. We have a separate smaller ranch for bow hunting. We conduct our elk hunts to put you in the optimum spot to fulfill your dream hunt!

2) My elk are born, raised, live, breed, and die on the preserve, so ALL my Bronze, Silver, Gold, and 500 CLUB elk hunts are limited to bulls on the hunt property, and what Mother nature controls and grows. There will be many bulls in both the typical and non-typical class's, and the photos on the sides of this page and below are some of the "Ranch" harvested bulls from recent seasons, so you can see what to expect as far as quality and antler shapes, it truly varies. 

3) SPECIAL ORDER CONSIGNMENT BULLS: Now that said, some guys are going to want specific qualities in a Bull and these bulls need to be "Consignment Bulls" , by that I mean, Bulls that hunters want to harvest that have  drop tines, webbing, large 550+, extra wide, etc., etc., Bulls like this we can get, and prices will need to be adjusted based on the stocker price if I need to go out and buy a specific bull for a guest. Bulls like this might be put into a smaller preserve to protect them from damage buy other bulls.

UNLIKE MOST RANCHES, ALL OUR ELK HUNTS ARE FULLY GUIDED FOR OPTIMUM SAFETY AND TROPHY SELECTION. IF YOU INTEND TO HUNT WITH ARCHERY GEAR, YOU NEED TO LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU BOOK YOUR HUNT, AS WE HAVE AN ARCHERY ONLY AREA.

2) The $3,950 base hunt fee applies to these hunts, and rifle hunters are still offered 100% GUARANTEED OPPORTUNITY! The Base Hunt Fee will be charged if a trophy is not taken during the scheduled hunt at no fault of Silvertine Wildlife Co. Only if we are unsuccessful in providing a reasonable opportunity for you to harvest a trophy in our size range, then no fee will be charged and your hunt will be rescheduled for a later date or your money refunded in full.
