Rocky Mountain Elk Hunting 

Native to the Rocky Mountains of western Canada and the USA , this species of elk is the most widely distributed and ranched elk we have. Procuring a trophy bull in the wild that will score over 350 B&C is about 1:500, so with these kind of odds stacked against you, it is not hard to see why many hunters from around the world visit a quality hunting preserve to obtain their once-in-a-lifetime trophy elk. The Rocky Mountain Elk is known for its impressive antlers and wonderfully flavored meat. The Rocky is an average sized elk often tipping the scales at 900 pounds at maturity. The bulls in our preserve are chosen from over 1700 breeding stock cows bred only by huge trophy size Rocky Mountain Bulls, and only the best of the best are offered to out clients. Presently you will find that "Silvertine" is at the forefront of quality Rock Mountain Elk, and our clients not only harvest some of the largest Rocky Mountain bulls on preserves, but probably the biggest! All our bulls are dark antlered and ivory tipped, with gorgeous manes and capes, with exceptional body condition. They will often yield hundreds of pounds of quality edible meat for the table. Since we have such opportunity to select quality animals for our clients from huge ranches, we offer a wide selection of bulls in every class to fulfil the client's expectations. We have several bulls each year that will exceed 500" SCI and many over 400" SCI, for the serious collector that wants one of the exclusive 400" plus class bulls! Also we have numerous trophy bulls in every other class from 325" to 399", something for every trophy hunter's budget and expectations.
