Our Elk, Deer and Bison are free roaming on a combined area of over a thousand acres of heavily forested, diversified terrain, which makes your hunt a challenge. You will experience real hunting with a 100% success rate, and every trophy will be eligible for the SCI record books. Add that HUGE trophy Elk or Whitetail Buck to your trophy room this year! We understand that customer satisfaction is the key to our success. I have guided for 23 years, and the few guides who help us are like family, and have been with us for many years. We take a minimal amount of hunters each year, with the maximum amount of hunters in camp is four at any time. We try to give each hunter or group of hunter’s exclusive use of the estate, with loads of ‘elbow room’. Our main goal is to provide a quality hunt experience, with a top of the line big-game trophy for each hunter. Our secondary goal is to offer you a modern, rustic, log-cabin lodge with a relaxed “homey” atmosphere, located inside the hunting area. We specialize in personal attention to each hunter, giving you, our guest, a great hunting experience and a feeling that you received more than your money’s worth. We would like to point out that we select our bull Elk for our guests from combined herds of over 2000 animals. They are released into the preserve in June or July. Only mature, 8+ year-old bulls are chosen, based on antler spread, classic tine length, and shape. All bulls have dark capes, long beards and mature features. Our preserve is 100% forested with a wide diversity of mature timber, brush, springs, rolling hills, and creeks. This diversity provides a very challenging hunt and a spectacular setting in which to hunt. The many wallows and dense, conifer timber give our bulls the distinction of having the darkest antler color available anywhere: a rich chocolate brown with highly polished tips, or “Silver-tines” as my grandfather use to call them. You will experience lifelong enjoyment of the most spectacular elk mount in your trophy room. The majority of our bucks are not pen raised A large percentage will spend their entire lives on our preserve, so they are wild deer indeed. We assembled some very strong genetic breeding stock and have increased the vigor of the herd by adding new, yearling bucks to the hunt area annually. With over a thousand bucks to choose from, we can fill any request you might have: from a slick typical, to the wildest, non-typical you have ever seen! Also, we have bucks available annually up to 300+ inches. Utilizing protein rich feed at the right times of the year, our bucks are some of the biggest, full–blood, Canadian whitetails available anywhere, both in antlers and bodies! This diverse forest provides a very challenging hunt and a spectacular setting in which to hunt. Your experience will be a hunt, and not merely a shoot. Silvertine provides the highest quality hunts for four species of Elk (Rocky Mountain, Roosevelt, Manitoban, and Russian White Elk), Whitetail Deer, Plains Bison, and Wood's Bison. Also Silvertine has incredible Exotic Game during the Spring and Fall, Plus we have WILD TURKEY Hunts too! Silvertine holds many World records and numerous top ten animals! Silvertine has a 100% kill-to-date record, and over 400 SCI record book qualifying entries as of 2011.
