Silvertine's Whitetail Hunting Paradise! Lockhorn Preserve

Often when you hunt this slice of challenging wilderness environment, you can expect to regularly see the whitetail buck waving his white tail at you, humbly reminding us of his finely tuned survival skills. This preserve is one hundred of acres (100) of towering, heavy old-growth Poplar, Spruce, Birch, and some Pine, loaded with many small rolling hills where the game can hide, it is 100% forested, and located next to the Silvertine Preserve. Several feeders are where the game feed early and late in the day. We hunt our deer in traditional style, blind hunting over bait. We do this as it does not disturb the deer's natural daily patterns, and increases opportunity and trophy selection. Blinds are set up for average shots of 50-100 yards, all hunting for deer is done from blinds, dawn until dusk. If you are a bow hunter, please let me know when you are booking, as we have a separate bow hunting  area.

Lockhorn Preserve has LOTS of BIG BUCKS, as we keep the stocking density high, so guests hunting here will see LOTS of quality bucks...and I do mean LOTS! This will keep it exciting and enjoyable, you will feel you have died and gone to whitetail hunting heaven, or whitetail hunting Disneyland as one of my regular guests calls it. Hunters have a choice each day on what blind they would like to hunt. We hunt our deer the exact same way majority of deer hunts do, utilizing blinds and feed as bait, let them come to us, and wait patiently for the right one.
