"In 4 decades of hunting I have been on many hunts that were fair chase. Silvertine has created a new hunting paradise, and has set the benchmark for what I believe will be the future of hunting. I worked my butt off trying to catch up to this beautiful animal."
Mr. Ray, Alberta Canada

A white buffalo or white bison historically  was an extremely rare and unique animal, well, not in the 21st century, there are hundreds and hundreds of them spread across North America presently. No longer a rarity there are dozens of White Bison breeders in North America presently. The increase percentage of white buffalo can only be attributed to better knowledge about genetics and breeding — breeders are simply able to create white buffalo in abundance today.

Are the majority of present day White Bison simply "Beefalo" (Bison crossed with Cattle), then bred back repeatedly to bison to retain the best Phenotypical Traits of the bison, while retaining the inherent DNA white coat coloration of their cattle ancestors? DNA tests have shown this is most likely the case. Breeders have been breeding White Bison now with such success the last decade that we are so many generations into the breeding them, that they look IDENTICAL to pure bison, and are testing 95-98% pure Bison in a DNA test, mine certainly are!

Our White Bison have exceptional coat pigment, with robes quality with thick hair. Silvertine White Bison have the best full frontal robes, long chaps, beard and forehead mop. Only in this Northern Climate do these animals grow amazing long winter coats! I offer hunts ONLY for older trophy bulls that have lived long full lives as breeders.

I am fortunate to have one of ONLY two herds of  White Bison in Canada, and be to a point with my herd that I can offer sportsmen a opportunity to harvest my old bulls. I do recommended hunters look towards late fall to early winter (November and December) dates for the fullest and most amazing robes.

For Prices and Dates got to my DATES AND RATES page.

Because of all the anti-hunting emails I get over allowing hunters to shoot my old White Bulls, let me say this. You need to understand death comes to every single living being, and I oversee an ethical  end for  my old bulls right here in their home, out in nature, rather than a commercial slaughter yard. These animals are raised commercially for meat, just as any other Bison are. The meat from all my animals that are harvested will now go to personally feed someone's family, and the mounted trophy will be immortalized for future generations to see and enjoy forever!  I can not imagine a more honorable end for these beautiful animals of mine.
